This free virtual session will explore the increased risks of Domestic Abuse (DA) post-lockdown, and consider ways to support vulnerable children and young people. It will focus on the impact DA has on child development and the role of education in supporting recovery and resilience. The session will also provide links and resources to support all staff working in education, including information on how to access a free national Teachers’ Helpline, funded by the Home Office and supported by the Department for Education.
This workshop will run from 3.00pm-4.00pm, and will be delivered by Elisabeth Carney-Haworth OBE (co-founder of the charity Operation Encompass) and Dr Emma Corrigan, Lead Educational Psychologist at Psychology Associates.
