Dr Tim Salzman

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Dr Tim Salzman is a HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist providing psychological assessment and therapeutic work in the areas of adult mental health, acquired brain injury, and Personal Injury. He undertakes regular Personal Injury assessments for the Court, and has completed over 90 personal injury reports over the last year (Claimant: 94%, Joint: 4%, Defendant: 2%). Tim’s particular experience is assessing the psychological impact of road traffic accidents (motor vehicles, motorbikes, bicycles and pedestrians), slip and fall injuries, chronic pain, assaults or threat to personal safety. Tim also provides other expert witness assessments including adult psychological state, cognitive functioning, mental capacity, fitness to plead, and he has experience of giving evidence in Court. Tim specialises in working with severe and enduring mental health difficulties, personality difficulties, and psychological trauma. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy. Tim also has interest and experience of working at an organisational level supporting team development and the psychological well-being of employees.
